Hi there, being a mom of a very independent, and fearless child around water I researched survival swim lessons and found Miss Ginger’s page. We swam with Miss Ginger for four years mastering her survival skills and along the way I became very passionate about the program and what it teaches. Today my daughter loves swimming and I am very confident in her safety around water.

Please complete our Contact Form and I will be happy to get back with you as soon as possible with lesson information and availability along with instructions to complete your child’s registration.

Infant Rollback to Float Class

Age: 6-12+ months

Babies who are sitting independently and beginning to crawl learn how to roll onto their back to float, rest and breathe until they can be rescued.

Parents also learn how to practice with their baby to reinforce skills learned in lessons. Once babies are over the age of one and walking, they return to learn the swim-float-swim sequence.

This class takes an average of 6 weeks to complete

Swim Float Swim

Ages 1 (and walking) to 3 Years Old

Children ages 1-3 learn to swim independently, roll onto their backs to rest and breathe, and continue the swim-float-swim sequence until the side of the pool or shore is reached.

Our one-on-one instruction allows your child to be able to develop their swimming skills to the fullest age-appropriate physical ability.

Recreational skills and games are also a fun addition to incorporate at this age.

Swim Float Swim

Children ages 4 and up learn to swim independently, roll onto their backs to rest and breathe, and continue the swim-float-swim sequence until the side of the pool or shore is reached.

Lessons for this age group have a strong focus on productive, coordinated movements and stroke development. This provides a strong foundation for safety and teaches the prerequisite skills needed to advance to formal stroke techniques.

Our one-on-one instruction allows your child to be able to develop their swimming skills to the fullest age-appropriate physical ability.

Recreational skills and games are also a fun addition to incorporate at this age.

This class takes an average of 4-6 weeks to complete, depending on age, skill and comfort level.
